Walk into My Sister's Quilt Shop in LaFox on a Friday night and you might catch a game of strip poker.
A quilter's version of strip poker, that is.
Strips of fabric are thrown into the pot and players use their winnings to make the month's pre-designated project. This month it's a casserole carrier.
"We have dinner, play cards and sew," said Laurie Kames, owner of the shop. "It's always full."
Kames, who picked up quilting 12 years ago, opened My Sister's Quilt Shop in October of 2004 at 1N279 LaFox Road - the former home of Potter's General Store.
