DALLAS -- The North Texas Municipal Water District will come to market Thursday with a competitive offering of $261.7 million of water system revenue bonds in a deal that marks the largest from Texas this week. Proceeds from the bond issue will finance a wetlands project that is projected to provide as much water supply for the district's customers as a new reservoir, district officials said.

The bonds will be sold competitively via i-Deal's Parity electronic auction platform.

First Southwest Co. is the district's financial adviser and McCall, Parkhurst & Horton LLP is its long-time bond counsel. JPMorgan Chase Bank will be trustee for the 29-year bonds. ...
