NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas, April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The SCOOTER Store, the world's leading provider of power chairs and scooters, on Monday marked the delivery of its 250,000th mobility equipment recipient with a celebration that also honored Iowa Senator Tom Harkin, father of the federal Americans with Disabilities Act.
In a company-wide rally joined by community leaders at The SCOOTER Store's New Braunfels world headquarters, employees heard founder and chairman Doug Harrison announce that Nora Spires of Springfield, Arkansas, earlier this month became the 250,000th SCOOTER Store customer to receive delivery of a power mobility solution.
