Apr. 25--SAN MARCOS ---- A developer is proposing to build the first research and development business park in San Marcos on 86 vacant acres northwest of Cal State San Marcos.

Residents will have a chance to look at plans for the project and provide feedback to developer H.G. Fenton during a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at City Hall.

Fenton officials said they will present their plans to build a 25-acre business park and roughly 750 condominiums on land northeast of Craven Road, west of Twin Oaks Valley Road and south of Highway 78 during the meeting.

After receiving community input, Fenton will move forward ...
