Kris Lindstrom did the Europe thing after she graduated from Purdue a decade ago, grabbing a friend, her backpack and Eurail pass before she flew away.
"We stayed in hostels and slept on trains, trying to do it as cheap as we could," she said. "It's still kind of the same thing. Save a penny here and a penny there."
She grew up in Richfield, lives in Eden Prairie and now works for a second consecutive season on the Ladies European Tour, where she travels from New Zealand to Austria, the Canary Islands to Italy.
