ALAN Kernaghan is preparing himself for a protracted legal battle to get the [pounds sterling]50,000 compensation he feels he is owed after being sacked with only one month's money by Dundee owner Peter Marr last night.
The former Republic of Ireland international and his assistant Billy Kirkwood were effectively dismissed on Monday when a crisis meeting with Marr turned sour and he hastily issued Kernaghan with a vote of no confidence.
Marr was later forced to concede that the club do not have the funds in place to pay off the remaining year of their contracts, so they remained in work - even taking training on three ...
