Apr. 25--For more than a quarter-century, Bexley's two best-known pizza shops, Rubino's Pizza and Bexley Pizza Plus, have quietly coexisted, separated by two blocks and the opposite sides of E. Main Street.
That's expected to change in a few months when Pizza Plus moves from its original location into a stand-alone building right next door to Rubino's. "It should be interesting," said Brad Rocco, who co-owns Pizza Plus with Don Schmitt. The move by Pizza Plus is the direct result of a long-planned renovation and expansion by its neighbor, CVS Pharmacy, at the northwest corner of Main and S. Cassingham Avenue.
