Josephine Berg was ironing Tuesday at her home in Bryan, Texas, when she received news from St. Paul that was more than 36 years in coming:
The mysterious death of her son, James Berg, a 21-year-old Macalester College student killed in November 1969 during a drug robbery, apparently had been solved.
"I'm glad it's finally over," she said. "When you lose a child it's something you never forget."
