A VACCINE that claims to end the misery of hay fever was unveiled yesterday.
The injection could also prevent asthma attacks, its makers said.
Patients who tested the drug were said to be a hundred times less sensitive to dust mites - even up to eight months after being treated.
The vaccine relieved the common hay fever symptoms of itchy eyes, sneezing and wheezing, while mild asthmatics no longer suffered attacks.
An estimated 12million Britons have allergies, many of which are caused by the house dust mite that infests pillows and mattresses.
