If you fill up at a buffet before you go to the grocery store, you might feel so satisfied that you forget to buy enough food to last all week.
The same thing often happens to gardeners in the spring. We get so excited loading our carts with plants that are blooming right now that we overlook the plants that could make our gardens beautiful in the fall.
