Apr 26, 2006 (Herald Sun - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Melbourne researchers have found that many young children are overweight. Researchers at the Royal Children's Hospital studied 340 children aged between four and six. The study revealed that 19.5 per cent were overweight or obese. One year later, 21.1 per cent were overweight. Dr Joanne Williams says that overweight children are likely to suffer from weight problems when they become adults.
