Apr. 27--On June 21, 1877, six Irish coal miners accused of murder were hanged at Schuylkill County Prison in what is now known as "The Day of the Rope."

Now, an Irish film company is planning to retrace their steps in a documentary about the Molly Maguires, and it got approval Wednesday from the Schuylkill County Prison Board to videotape the dungeon of the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville.

The county prison board voted unanimously to give ikandi Productions of Galway, Ireland, 90 minutes of access to the prison.
