Apr. 27--Among the dwindling advantages of the music season's waning weeks is the chance to hear the gifted members of the New World Symphony strut their considerable stuff in the solo spotlight. In the second of two Concerto Showcase weekend programs, heard Sunday afternoon at the Lincoln Theatre, three young players offered a trio of contrasted 20th century works. Brief video introductions, where the artists talked about themselves and the music they were to perform, provided a nice touch.
