According to anba: Exports from the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul increased by 7% in March this year in relation to the same month in 2005. The rate is lower than the average increase of 23% registered for national exports. In spite of the increase registered in March, external sales from the Rio Grande do Sul dropped 3% in the first quarter of 2006 in comparison to the same period in 2005.
