Apr. 30--GARDENDALE -- With Hartselle High facing elimination from the state baseball playoffs, Saturday didn't start so well.In the deciding game of a Class 5A best-of-three second-round series at Gardendale, Hartselle trailed most of the game and was down by a run as the Tigers faced their last at-bat.And maybe nobody felt it more than designated hitter Jake Bradford.The junior had struck out twice and when he stepped to the plate in the final inning, his Tigers trailed by a run.
