PROJECT OVERVIEW
A Japanese/Saudi joint venture that teams-up SUMITOMO CHEMICAL and SAUDI ARAMCO is currently involved in the development of a $9,800,000,000 petrochemical complex in Saudi Arabia. In so doing, the partners recently awarded a construction contract for planned polymer plants to an international consortium led by Italy-based TECNIMONT SPA. The other companies involved in the project include SUMITOMO CHEMICAL ENGINEERING of Japan in conjunction with the local AGGAD INVESTMENT CO. (AICO) and TECHNIMONT ARABIA.
