Forget headbanging heavy metal fans swigging cider in a remote field - the UK's biggest concerts organiser is set to base a new rock event on the more sedate Hay-on-Wye book festival.
Mean Fiddler boss Melvin Benn, the man behind the Glastonbury, Reading, and Leeds Festivals, says his new event called Latitude will mix rock'n'roll with highbrow culture and books.
Indie band Snow Patrol will join arty bands Mogwai and Antony and the Johnsons at the event.
