One of the most far-reaching studies of canine aggression that is directed toward owners has animal behaviorists pointing the finger of shame at a particular dog breed--English springer spaniels--and at a certain "Kennel X"(which they declined to name) for selling a disproportionate number of aggressive dogs.
The study, reported in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association (Vol. 227, No. 10), surveyed a one-in-27 random sample of owners of the approximately 64,800 English springer spaniels registered with the American Kennel Club.
