Arthur Feid of Glen Ellyn is a Master Gardener who finds humor and irony in gardening.
"Last summer during the drought, I spent a lot of money watering, about $200 a month," he said. "It was kind of ironic. When I was watering the garden, the water was running to my raspberries and they grew like the dickens. After I picked three buckets of berries, I got tired of picking."
Feid, a Glen Ellyn resident for 49 years, has been a gardener for more than six decades.
