Apr. 30--Thanks to a deal among TVA, a Florida development company and the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians, a $50 million resort will be announced Monday in Vonore.
The Sequoyah Lodge and Lake Resort will be built on 44 acres in phases, with the first step being a 200-slip marina scheduled to open in the spring of 2007.
