After a four-year career as a Monona police officer ended in 2000 following his acquittal on sexual assault charges, Dominic Anderson decided to become a lawyer.
He finished ninth in his law school class at Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kan., and worked as a legal intern for a federal judge and as a criminal defense clinic intern. He had a job offer from a small law firm in his hometown of Richland Center.
