Lowell Edwin Merry of Attleboro, formerly of Cumberland, R.I., and Venice, Fla., a World War II veteran and retired sales supervisor, died Wednesday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was 81.
Born in Rowley, Mr. Merry graduated from Ipswich High School in 1942.
Mr. Merry was a Navy veteran. He enlisted on July 5, 1943, and served as an aviation machinist's mate 3rd class. He was discharged March 13, 1946.
He was a sales supervisor for Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla., for five years. He retired in 1982. He had previously been a stage designer for La Casa Mobile Home Park in Venice, Fla. Prior to moving to Florida, he ...
