BERKELEY, Calif. -- Oakland A's pitcher Barry Zito, Pyramid Breweries Inc.(Nasdaq:PMID) and loyal fans of the A's and Pyramid's beers, helped raise $50,000 during the Strikeouts For Troops Celebrity Bash held recently at the Pyramid Alehouse in Walnut Creek, California.
The event, presented by Pyramid Alehouse, Wasserman Media Group, Fox Sports Radio and 95.7 MAX FM, was held to commemorate the first anniversary of the Strikeouts for Troops program founded by Zito in 2005.
