David French, International Franchise Association vice president of government relations, assumed his new duties on March 13. Prior to joining IFA, he led the government relations program of the International Foodservice Distributors Association and its predecessor organization, Food Distributors International, from 2001.
French served for nearly a decade on Capitol Hill, both in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, including five years as a senior aide to Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.).
