The International Society of Interior Designers' College of Fellows has selected Carolyn Thompson, an assistant professor at the College of Architecture and Design at Kansas State University, as the 1993 winner of its annual Educator's Grant Competition. The competition sought the best proposal for an educational research project; key factors included the furthering of the professionalism of interior design, and the development of educational course materials for undergraduate and graduate college curricula. Honorable mentions go to Erick Strauss, New York School of Interior Design and Allan Hinge, Atlanta College of Art.
