If it wasn't a bruised tailbone, it was a tender thigh or a strained groin.
Two of Oregon's wide receivers missed workouts to rehabilitate academics.
Heck, all that was fairly minor, by comparison, to what befell their coach during spring practices. Halfway through the month, UO assistant Robin Pflugrad was hospitalized and underwent surgery on three neck vertebrae. The surgery was successful, but he's still wearing a neck support while slowly recovering as he eases back into being on the field with his receivers.
He actually surprised his doctor, and maybe himself, with a relatively quick return ...
