The Fletcher Allen Health Care Center in Burlington, VT, encompasses a total of 950,000 square feet, and includes new construction as well as older, renovated buildings that date back to the 1800s. The idea behind the venture--dubbed the Renaissance Project--was to build a new Ambulatory Care Center and joint Education and Conference Center with the University of Vermont to bring together patient care, education and research.
