May 4--Urban Meyer's spiel hasn't changed all spring. In speeches to Gator Clubs from Tampa to Tallahassee, and again Wednesday night for the 1,000 or so locals at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, Meyer insists his team sits on the brink of greatness. "It's close," he told the crowd. "Real close. All we need is a couple of guys to cross that line." Every bunch of boosters has heard the same message. The basketball team provided the model, using commitment and teamwork to, in Meyer's words, cross that line and win the national title.
