Decatur Park District looking at $600,000 increase in spending.

May 4--DECATUR -- The Decatur Park District is seeking a budget increase of about $600,000 for the upcoming fiscal year. The park board of commissioners got its first peak at the proposed budget of about $13.8 million Wednesday. The board will discuss the financial document at a meeting at noon Wednesday, May 17, at the park district administration office, 620 E. Riverside Ave. "We're addressing a lot of fixed-cost issues that have seen significant increases over the past year," said Bill Clevenger, executive director of the park district.
