May 4--McALLEN -- Police here have only used deadly force a handful of times in recent years. But as few and far between as the incidents are, people tend to remember them -- for better, or more probably for worse. There is no doubt the eight officers involved in Sunday morning's fatal shooting of Arthur Ramirez, who killed his wife and another man, 22-year-old Rene Rodriguez, at a northeast McAllen housewarming party, acted properly, said McAllen Police Chief Victor Rodriguez.
