The strategy isn't exactly a secret. If the Twins are going to have success this season, it's going to be because of their pitching rotation.

Sure, they're occasionally going to get a big home run or score a bushel of runs, but the Twins starters have to be difference-makers. Especially Johan Santana and Brad Radke.

After a month of bizarro baseball that saw the pitching-rich Twins rank last in the American League in earned-run average, things might have started to change.
