Seneca Falls School Superintendent Gerald A. Macaluso apologized publicly this week for his arrest Saturday on a drunken-driving charge.
"Words cannot adequately express my sorrow and remorse for this misjudgment," he said in a statement issued Tuesday.
Macaluso, 55, is a former school administrator in Auburn, where he was appointed assistant superintendent for instruction and personnel in December 1988. In 1995, he took over as principal of Union Springs Middle School before moving to the Seneca Falls superintendent's job in 1998.
