Thanks to hard-earned Yamaha/GYT-R factory support, Brandon Ballance is beaming with confidence. After riding with the Grand National Cross Country No. 9 plate last season, a horde of consistent finishes has resulted in an improved No. 6 red plate this time around.

"I feel very confident," Ballance said. "I didn't have much in the way of bike failures last season and finished 18th or better every round. The factory support should help me remain consistent this year. I definitely think [no throw out races in 13 rounds] will help me out."
