Farmers For Action boss David Handley will give new NFU president Peter Kendall six months to make a mark in the job before he makes any attempt to oust him.
Handley said that Kendall, who beat the incumbent Tim Bennett in the NFU's presidential election on February 28, had "walked into the lion's den "by coming into office at a time of crisis over delays to the new Single Farm Payment.
