YEARS ago, the national government planted trees and ornamental plants along major highways and avenues in Luzon and Metro Manila. We often see them as regular commuters: Narra, mahogany, bougainvillea, gumamela, sampaguita, yellow bells, etc. The obvious purpose is to have an instant cure for tired eyes and boredom on the road.
Look at them now
Take a second look now at these trees and beautiful plants along such major avenues as Quezon, Taft, ...
