May 6--Thank you for The Sun's article on overcrowding at Chapel Hill Elementary School, one of several schools in northeast Baltimore County where development has overburdened classroom space ("Pressures from new houses hit schools," April 30).
As someone who attended Chapel Hill Elementary School, and whose son may attend the school in two years, I find it sad to see such a fine school struggling with overcrowding. Even sadder is the fact that Baltimore County could have avoided this problem.
Twelve years ago, the Baltimore County Council passed the Honeygo plan to improve the quality of development in the area near Chapel Hill Elementary School. Since ...
