May 7--Last August, David Pfeffer, then preparing to launch a bid for a U.S. Senate race, talked about flying to various parts of the state to explore a possible candidacy but refused to say who was paying for the flights. Today, months into his candidacy, Pfeffer still won't say who flew him on four of his trips. And the information doesn't show up on any of Pfeffer's three campaign-finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission since September.
