LOUISVILLE, Ky. _ In the whirling aftermath of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, as the entourage of the new champion, Barbaro, went from grandstand to winner's circle to news conference to party and around and around the bedlam that is Churchill Downs on Derby day, a reporter bent to ask 9-year-old Alex Matz what he liked about the horse.
"He wins all of his races," said the son of trainer Michael Matz, the guiding hand behind Barbaro.
