May 8--Leadership for Eduardo R. Rodriguez isn't only about what you do -- but how you do it. "I was taught by my parents and believe very strongly that those who have an education have a responsibility to give back to the community," he said. Rodriguez was raised to believe that leadership applies to all aspects of life -- from professional to public to personal -- and has applied that value to the life he has made in Brownsville. For the last year, he has served as president of the State Bar of Texas, making him the first Hispanic from the Rio Grande Valley and only the second Hispanic ever to hold the title.
