Biggest news around Easter was the National Geographic Society's announcement of the restoration of an 1,800 year-old manuscript--written on papyrus in the Coptic language (still spoken in Egypt today)--stating that Judas Iscariot, whom Christian scripture believes betrayed Jesus with a kiss at the Garden of Gethsemane, actually did it with Christ's blessing. Two-hour special on the National Geographic Channel got excellent ratings, and the follow-up in the May NG was widely anticipated.
