WASHINGTON, May 9 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, May 13 beginning at 8 p.m., the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) will hold a Candlelight Vigil to honor the 155 law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty during 2005, and commemorate the sacrifices of more than 17,500 officers who have been killed while protecting public safety since the earliest known death in 1792. The Vigil will be held at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, which is located on E Street, NW, between 4th and 5th streets adjacent to the Judiciary Square Metro on the Red Line.
