SEATTLE, May 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dendreon Corporation today reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2006. Revenue for the first quarter of 2006 was $25,000 compared to $57,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2005. Revenue in 2006 includes recognition of deferred revenue related to two license agreements.
Dendreon's total operating expenses for the three months ended March 31, 2006 were $25.5 million compared to $20.6 million for the same period in 2005. Operating expenses for the three months ended March 31, 2006 included stock- based employee compensation expense of $801,000.
