The Colorado Avalanche did not do itself any favors on the power play during two losses in Anaheim last weekend.
On Tuesday, Colorado's inability to create offense with a man advantage became the primary reason why the team has been painted into a forbidding corner.
The Avalanche's woes on the power play continued in Game 3 of its Western Conference semifinal showdown against the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim as it went 0-for-8 with a man advantage as it lost 4-3 in overtime to fall into an overwhelming 3-0 series deficit.
