Arlington, Texas -- The slow-motion replay showed Justin Morneau's cheeks puffing out, with his eyes big and wide, as the letter-high pitch from Kevin Millwood sailed into his happy zone.
It was the rarest of sights Tuesday night: Millwood throwing a meatball, and Morneau - or any member of the Twins' struggling lineup - ready to pounce.
Morneau crushed that first-inning pitch for a three-run homer, giving the Twins a five-run lead over the Texas Rangers before they had made their second out.
The lead was 10 runs by the third inning, and even Carlos Silva couldn't mess that up, as the Twins cruised ...
