Ralph E. Reed, Jr, is one of the most influential members of the Christian political movement in the United States. As executive director, Reed has helped mold the Christian Coalition -- founded by religious broadcaster Pat Robertson in 1989 -- into a powerful political force.

Before joining the Virginia Beach, Va. based group, Reed served as the executive director of the College Republican National Committee and founded and led the Students for America, a grassroots conservative student network.
