May 10--Elizabeth Garcia is looking out for her health. Aside from joining a fitness class at the Neighborhood Center in Santa Fe Springs, Garcia also has signed up for Medicare Part D coverage to make sure she continues to receive her necessary medicines.

The 73-year-old Santa Fe Springs resident said she now has a $3 co-payment for each of her prescriptions; and although she previously had no co-pay under Medi-Cal drug coverage, the amount hasn't put a dent in her pocketbook.

"I don't take that much medicine," she said.
