Hip-hop artist Nik Fury, an active member of the local Christian music scene, has a new CD coming out and is throwing a release party today at the Centennial Christian Center, 1020 Janus St., Spring- field.
The CD, "The Downfall of Authenticity and Other Unforeseen Events," will be on sale for half-price at the free CD release party.
Fury describes himself in his bio as "a man in search of authenticity." He raps about a range of issues in his rhymes, including religion, sincerity, upper-class America.
