An Anoka County jury found a Ramsey man guilty Wednesday evening of fatally shooting a man as he made a sandwich in his kitchen.
Joshua A. Krueth, 22, was convicted of second-degree murder in Anoka County District Court in the death of Lawrence Plessel, 60, also of Ramsey, on Sept. 4, 2004. Plessel's longtime girlfriend found him in a pool of blood. He had been shot in the chest through the kitchen window.
Prosecutor Robert Goodell has said there was evidence that Krueth had been using methamphetamine.
