JACK Straw. . . is 'utterly determined' that there will be no rewards for hijacking.
But the Home Secretary must forgive this paper a certain scepticism. . .
we'll wager that most 'victims' of the Stansted hijack are still enjoying life on benefits in Britain five years hence.
So predicted this column on February 11, 2000. In fact, we were being absurdly naive. Not only are most of the 'victims' still here - so are the hijackers!
