McKENZIE BRIDGE - It's now gone with the wind, along with Clark Gable's signature in the guest book.
And not only did Gable sleep here, but President Herbert Hoover and the Duke of Windsor, too.
So did actor Pierce Brosnan; just four months ago, while shooting a film at Sahalie Falls with fellow actor Liam Neeson.
"Here" was the Log Cabin Inn, the century-old, two-story restaurant and amenities 53 miles east of Eugene that were destroyed by a March 29 blaze. The fire that brought it down in only 20 minutes came 100 years after a 1906 fire destroyed the original Log Cabin Inn, built in 1885.
